Malaga Pasifika

Last week we had a talk about this about how our parents grandparents sacrificed their selves for us. So we had to answer these questions about what were the strengths and gifts that pasifika people brought with them when they journeyed to New Zealand. And like what were there dreams and what challenges did they have to face and all the other stuff that they sacrificed for us and to save our parents life and let us have a good Education and life. And that you could tell others about how your parents or grandparents sacrificed there selves for you.

Problem Solving

This is our second DIMIC that we had done on Monday the 18th. So what we had to do is we had to solve the problem about three students and 3 bins and they had to take it to 4 locations because their were team 5 and team 1. Then when our teacher had told us that problem we had to write it on the paper and then we would have to get up in front and tell the students in our group how we solved it.

Family Tree

Another thing since last week we have been learning to do our family tree. So in the family tree there is me my sisters my brothers and my Aunt and my uncle and my mum and my papa and my nana. So in the family that you want to make you have to write your mum and dad and all your family and stuff like that. And thats what we learned in room 2 this year.

Peter Jackson,

Today in Room 2 we have been learning about Peter Jackson. I have found very important information about him so I now I know that he is a New Zealander film maker director and that he has also made movies and also started filming movies at the age of eight. So that's what we have been learning about is Peter Jackson a New Zealander director.

WALT: Find and summarise key information

Self-Portrait.

This whole term we have been learning how to draw ourselves with pencil and then write over it with and what we call this is our Self-Portrait. First what we had to do was that our teacher had to take a photo of us once she has done that we have to wait till our photos arrive. When it had arrive we had to grab the picture and then grab another piece of blank paper and what we had to do with the blank paper is we had to put the piece of blank paper on the photo and then trace our face. When we had done that we had too grab a black felt pen and then go over the writing that we have written in our body once we  have finished that what we did is we had to grab a rubber and then rub it out so it could turn out like the picture that I have made.

Fakalofa-lahi atu malo lelei Greetings my name is Jazzelle and I am 11 years old. My nationality is Tongan/Niuean I am a year 7 and i have 5 beautiful teachers Ms,Tapuke Ms, Moala Ms Stone, and Ms telea And last for not least Ms Iloa they are such beautiful and kind teachers. I have 3 younger siblings and 1 older sister so then i have 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Dear Miss Tapuke,

My name is Jazzelle and I am 11 years old,I am a year 7 student from Pt England School. I am the 2nd youngest i have one older sister and i have two younger brothers and 1 younger sister who come to this school with me. My culture is Tongan half Niuean My favourite thing about my siblings is that they make me laugh all the time or even tell me funny jokes.
I am very excited to be in your homeroom and literacy class for this year. My favourite sports is netball and rugby but mostly I love playing netball two years ago in year 5 I was playing for the red minions it was very cool playing for netball.
My favourite thing about my uncle is that when we go polyfest to watch him and then eat after in the holidays I stayed home and watched netflix and slept all day well not all day just till the afternoon.My favourite subject is Writing and Maths. I added writing because in writing I love writing alot and maths like answering all the questions and solving it
At school I really like it when people around the world comment on my blog or visit my blog or if someone told me to, Keep my work up and stuff like that. For writing I spend time thinking what i'm gonna write and then whatever im writing I write it down and then I'm done and then I post it on my blog.
