Who Am I.
Walt: create a structured recount with correct tenses and punctuation.
Introduction
Start with a sentence that tells the reader what you are talking about.

So today we did Who am i? Challenge. Have you ever heard of the Who Am I challenge? Well in this game your partner puts a piece of paper on there head and then you try and act it out and they have to guess what they are. And if they guess it right then there other partner has to put the piece of paper and repeat what they did. And that’s how you play Who am I challenge.

First we got handed a piece of paper and my partner putted the piece of paper on her head and my partner’s name is Tepaia. So the first thing I had to do with my partner was if my partner putted a piece of paper on her head I had to guess what she was I also had to act it out and then she had to guess what she was. Then Miss Parrant said 3,2,1 GO! When Miss Parrant handed us the piece of paper.

Then after my friend guessed what she was then the next thing we did is my friend had to go and get an piece of paper for me. When she gave me the paper I putted the paper on my head and then I had to guess what I was. Then when I finally guessed what I was it was my friends turn and she had to guess what she was.

After I went to go and grab her a another piece of paper to put on her head well I actually got two papers for us two so I gave her mine and I had hers so I gave her card to put on her head. And then we kept on carrying on what we did so we kept on guessing what she or I was. And then we came to the mat and then our friend Tony she was the first to stand up and guess what she was and if she said like if she was an movie character or an cartoon character we had to say yes or no and then we finished.

I felt great and happy that we played this game and it was really funny when we started. And it went really well and we had lots of fun doing this game. And some of our class were quite a little bit silly when we did this game.

Today I got a certificate and a new book.
Today on Friday I got a new book and a certificate which was amazing to get. I really like the book i choose because it has heaps of details and words in this book I choose.

Room 8 Marshmallow Challenge.
Marshmallow Challenge
Walt: create a structured recount with correct tenses and punctuation.
Today on Thursday room 8 did a Marshmallow challenge. Have you ever heard of the Marshmallow challenge? Well me and my class roommates had a challenge to do today in our class. Each team had to build the tallest marshmallow tower.
So first what I did is I got into a group of 3 so that I could make the group a group of 4. Then the first thing we did was Miss Parrant handed us a bag that had all the stuff we needed so in the bag it had 1 Marshmallow heaps of spaghetti and a string with a scissor. Then Miss Parrant final instructions was 3,2,1, GO!!! And then we went.
When Miss Parrant said 321 GO!! We hurried to a table and then the instructions was to build a tall tower that would stand up. So we tried to make an Eiffel tower. We did it by sellotaping the spaghetti stick to the table. Then we put the sticks together and putted the Marshmallow on top of the tower. And I tied up the tower with the string and then the tower was kind of wobbly so after we left it to stand it broke because it fell down. And then we kind of laughed but felt sad like only 2% sad.
So after our eiffel tower broke and all the stuff that we used was broken so we decided to watch our other friends that were building an amazing tower or anything they were building it looked amazing. So our tower was broken so it didn’t look like anything it just looked broken. And we kind of managed to make a tower but then it broke.
Well we didn’t feel anything when our tower broke down and all the stuff that we used was broken. We were really happy when we were building the tower. But then when it broke we were 2% sad. But at the same time happy that we actually made a tower before our tower broke.

Term 4 Goals and Expectations.
Term 4 Goals and Expectations

This term three holidays are over now and I was really really excited to come back to school. This term our topic is called Te Wai Toi. This means It is time for art and creating new art and stuff like when you search the website to look for arts you can see who did the art. The thing I want to learn this term is I want to know who drew the art.
This term I am excited for art and writing because this term we have art going on this term. And work going on also this term and stuff like that.
My two goals are to finish off my work and finish off my writing. This term I want to achieve my work and also finish it off and study about what we are going to learn this term. My other goal this term is to learn something that I have never learned before so that when i move into team 5 I have learned something from this term
So on goals i wanted to learn about what you do in art and also study about art and to finish my work and get everything done and dusted. On my learning I hope that what I am going to learn this term is going to be very great

Last day of the holidays..
Today is the last day of the holidays and it's been really great and fun in the holidays. So yeah it's time to go back to school tomorrow but i'm happy we are going school tomorrow because I've missed school kind of but yeah its the last day for the holidays looking forward on going back to school.
